Sharon's love affair with the arts began as a little girlgrowing up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She spent countless hours drawing, making, imagining, and dreaming. Home today is a small village in the countryside in beautiful Rhineland-Palatinate (Rheinland-Pfalz) Germany.

I paint dreamscapes. These colorful, imagined lands are a stark contrast to the world we live in. They are a portal leading to a space of wonder and magic: a place dedicated to reflection, meditation, and musing.

Using mixed media materials to create intuitively, Sharon allows the story to evolve organically. She then incorporates elements of ancestry, childhood memories, and the lush landscapes that surround and inspire her. In addition to painting, Sharon creates art in many genres, including writing, stop-motion animation, textile art, and video.
